During its 60th anniversary season, the opera will offer 37 performances of five operas, opening with Puccini's La Fanciulla del West, a spaghetti Western set during the California Gold Rush. Other productions include Mozart's Don Giovanni, Strauss' Capriccio, Roméo et Juliette by Charles Gounod, and finally Vanessa by Samuel Barber.

Santa Fe's Spanish Market pays tribute to traditional Spanish Colonial arts and culture, with several hundred artists selling santos and bultos (wooden carved and painted images of saints), handmade furniture, colcha (straw ornaments), jewelry, weavings and more. Held on the Santa Fe Plaza, the market includes food, live music and dance performances, book signings and more.
August 20 - 21
The Santa Fe Indian Market is in the historic downtown plaza in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. The streets of downtown are transformed into the largest Native arts market and exhibition. There is nowhere else in the world you can go and see this many Native artists exhibiting in one place.

This July, the International Folk Art Market | Santa Fe will celebrate its biggest and most diverse Market yet, with almost 40 percent new artists, including more master artists and cooperatives then ever before. Close to 200 artists from every corner of the globe will bring their work to this vast and colorful international bazaar.
